I am extremely happy to be the Principal of the Anjuman-E-Islam, College of Education, Bijapur / Vijayapur, a prestigious institute of this historical city, established in the year 2002. It is amongst one of the best college affiliated to the Rani Channamma University, Belagavi and recognized by the NCTE.
Education is drawing out the best in man-kind, soul and spirit, it implies the development of the 4 C’s Creativity, Critical thinking, Communication and Collaboration. The main function of education is to guard the social heritage and educational values.
Teachers’ role in the new millennium has become multifaceted and challenging teachers are nation builders. Teachers’ role as facilitators for transformation will require you to develop in children nationalism, internationalism and prepare them as global citizens and develop in them self learning skills, ICT competencies. Our endeavor is to make them good teachers but also to make them better individuals and citizens, thereby sharing responsibilities of building strong pillars of the nation. Our excellence is not just confined to the classroom, we are also notably active in conducting conferences, workshops, seminars, guest lectures and other co-curricular activities. These events expose students to aspects beyond the curriculum, thus adding value to their professional success. Empowerment of the students for all round development through education is our most cherished motto.
Our Academic Record has been outstanding since the inception of the institution. Our college has a excellent record of very high pass percentage results every year with maximum first divisions in both Theory as well as in Practical Examinations.
